Marcus's enlistment day. woke up at an unearthly hour of 6am while i slept at 4am plus with marc's laughter from watching Phua Chu Kang on mobtv. I started the last min packing and all and walked to prata shop to meet Salt for breakfast.. We took a cab around 730am and took about an hour plus to CCK due to the morning jam. it was so bad until i felt car sick. cab fare amounted to $35.90. Salt and i went for his enlistment cuz marc's parents have medical checkup which i think cant be postpone.
The Police Academy, i think they call it Home Team Academy. The buildings look so nice and smell so nice.. still got the 'new house' kind of wood smell. Im glad that marc is staying here instead of the old police academy which i've stayed before for a CCC camp. That old police academy was so creepy can and the toilets looked so pathetic not to mention the lots of creepy insects residing there. We had a tour around the place. They showed us their bunks, relax room, different kinds of police uniforms and even what food they give to the boys. LOL. According to Salt, the food in police is so much better that what he was given in army.
I cant take photos so those photos i have are the ones which i think i can take and they wont put me in jail. LOL. All their chin up bars, sit up, whichever thingy we did for NAPHA test are computerised which means they tap their personal card and the record will be sent to the date base after they are done.
Picture of the personal locker which uses number, salt gave marc a padlock so i guess he will double lock his locker..
Salt and i went to Lot 1 to get his hp pouch and went home. OMG. its takes so long to travel from CCK to home can. i can foresee that i will be very sad while waiting for marc to book out on friday.
Im really happy that marc has such a nice place to book in. So different from what the army boys have to go through.. so i guess being posted to police isnt such a bad thing afterall.
